Ideal for most radial engine operators in warm weather, with AeroShell Oil W100 or AeroShell Oil W 15W-50 recommended for cooler temperatures. Recommended for Lycoming and Continental flat engines, with AeroShell Oil W80 as an excellent choice during colder months. While some manufacturers suggest straight mineral oil for new or newly overhauled engines, AeroShell W Oils, including AeroShell Oil W 120, are often recommended for break-in periods, especially for turbocharged Lycoming engines. |
