Silicone additives

Silicone additives have long been recognised for providing special properties to inks and coatings, including improved slip, mar resistance, levelling and foam control. Furthermore, because silicones are effective at very low concentrations, they are widely used to optimise both product properties and processes. Univar Solutions' additives offer formulators of paints, inks and coatings a wide range of possibilities for creating unique products with outstanding performance properties. Our silicone additives can be used to improve many different aspects of paint and coating formulations, including flow and levelling, wetting, dispersion, anti-foaming, anti-settling, anti-sagging and more. With our silicone additives, you can create products that have unparalleled performance characteristics while still maintaining optimal processability.
