Balsam Copaiba Organic is a natural oleoresin obtained from the trunk of the Copaiba tree (Copaifera officinalis, Copaifera reticulata, Copaifera langsdorffii and related species), sustainably harvested from tropical forests in South America, primarily Brazil.Unlike most vegetable oils, Copaiba Balsam is a naturally occurring oleoresin rich in sesquiterpenes, particularly β-caryophyllene, which contributes to its soothing, purifying, and skin-conditioning properties.
