How sustainability governance is embedded across our business
Our sustainability governance model is designed to provide clear oversight, strategic direction, and operational accountability as we progress our sustainability agenda to 2030. We embed sustainability into business decision-making through a governance structure that connects Board oversight, executive leadership, and cross-functional implementation.
Our governance structure includes the following groups:
- Board of Directors’ Sustainability Committee
- Univar Solutions’ Executive Committee
Corporate, Operational and Commercial Sustainability leadership teams.Together, these groups help us oversee priorities, monitor progress, respond to emerging risks and opportunities, and strengthen the systems, behaviors, and partnerships needed to deliver our sustainability strategy through 2030.

Sustainable Supply Chain Leadership
We believe strong governance extends beyond our own operations. Our approach to sustainable sourcing is focused on setting clear expectations, improving transparency, and working with suppliers to support responsible practices across our value chain.
Through our Supplier Code of Conduct, supplier assessment processes, and ongoing engagement, we are strengthening how environmental, social, and ethical considerations are embedded in supplier relationships. This evolving approach helps us manage risk, support responsible sourcing, and drive better outcomes for people, communities, and the environment through 2030.
